Spiders.

A talk given by Edward Milner. Spider recorder for the London Natural History Society.

Saturday 10th
Dungeness.

A visit to this famous Kent coast site. With autumn migration in full swing, we will start off with some sea-watching
and then move inland to the nearby RSPB reserve where there are facilities. (Charge for non-RSPB members).
Warm clothing recommended. Picnic lunch.
Meet at the car park by the Old Lighthouse at OS 189 TR 089169.

Sunday 1st All Day.
The 2009 Bird Race.

Our friendly, annual contest against Ruislip & District NHS; where we try to see as many different bird species as
possible in one day.
(Part-day participation welcome).

A winter birdwatching walk around the lake and surrounding woodlands.

Our Reserve History In Maps.

Judy Cross, our Harefield Place Reserve Manager, gives a talk on how the local landscape has changed over the years.

Pulborough Brooks and Warnham.

A two-part day of late winter birdwatching. We will start off at Pulborough (RSPB) and proceed after lunch to the
Surrey Wildlife Trust reserve at Warnham.
Picnic or cafe lunch.

Rainham Marshes.

This popular RSPB reserve, situated on the Essex Side of the Thames, is good for waterbirds, large numbers of gulls and, hopefully, some early migrants too.

Entrance charge for non-RSPB members. Visitor Centre & facilities on site.
